Turtle Brownies

14 oz. caramels
⅔ cup evaporated milk
1 pkg german chocolate cake
⅓ cup melted butter
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Grease 13x9 pan. Heat caramels and ⅓ cup evaporated milk in pan, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
Mix cake mix, remaining evaporated milk, butter and nuts in a bowl.
Pat ½ the mixture into pan and bake 6 minutes.
Sprinkle chips over brownies, then pour the caramel over that.
Finally, sprinkle the remaining cake mixture on top.
Bake 18-20 minutes more. Refrigerate 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
