Caramel Sea Salt Chip Cookies

  • 2¼ cups all purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 package caramel sea salt baking chips

Preheat oven to 375° F. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl and set aside.
Using a mixer in a large mixing bowl combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, softened butter and vanilla extract and mix until creamy.
Add eggs, then dry ingredients and mix until fully combined. Stir in caramel sea salt baking chips.
Drop mixture by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack. Yields about 24 cookies.
