Whiskey
  • Absinthe, to rinse

  • 1 ounce rye whiskey

  • 1 ounce Cognac

  • ½ ounce Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur

  • ½ teaspoon rich demerara syrup

  • 1 dash aromatic bitters

Rinse a rocks glass with a small amount of absinthe and set aside.
In a mixing glass, stir the remaining ingredients with ice until well-chilled.
Strain into the rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lemon twist.
