Whiskey
Absinthe, to rinse
1 ounce rye whiskey
1 ounce Cognac
½ ounce Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
½ teaspoon rich demerara syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
Rinse a rocks glass with a small amount of absinthe and set aside.
In a mixing glass, stir the remaining ingredients with ice until well-chilled.
Strain into the rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lemon twist.
